Bill calendar

A month grid to map due dates against paydays.

Most cash-flow stress is timing stress. The money is there; it is just not there on the day the bill leaves. Seeing a month laid out on paper, with your paydays across the top and your bills marked in the days they land, usually makes the shape of the problem obvious.

Fill it in for one month by hand. Circle the bills, mark the transfers, note the paychecks. Then look for the gaps and shift what you can — most billers will move a due date if you ask.
