What if I cancel during the trial?
Nothing happens. We don’t charge you for the 7 days. Your data is deleted within 30 days unless you ask us to keep it.
Will Plumb touch my credit?
No. Plumb doesn’t pull your credit report at all. Everything we know comes from the accounts you connect — read-only, bank-grade, and invisible to lenders. Nothing Plumb does appears on a credit report.
Why are the tiers based on which accounts I connect?
Because advice is only as good as the data underneath it. Credit reports run 30 to 45 days behind your real balances, so we don’t build your plan on them. Each tier connects more of your live accounts — cash first, then your cards and loans, then your investments — and the plan covers exactly what Plumb can see.
Is Plumb financial advice?
No. Plumb is financial coaching and education — we help you build a plan and walk you through it. We are not a Registered Investment Advisor and do not offer investment, tax, or legal advice, even when your investment accounts are connected on Plumb Premier. For those, we’ll point you toward the right professional.
Can I switch tiers mid-month?
Yes. Move up a tier instantly and connect the new account types the same day; we’ll pro-rate the difference. Move down at the next billing cycle.
What if my lender doesn’t share every detail?
Most card issuers, student-loan servicers, and mortgage lenders share the full picture — APRs, minimum payments, due dates. A few loan types (some auto and personal loans) share balances only. The Coach works with everything your institutions provide and tells you plainly when something is missing.
How does cancellation work?
Settings → Subscription → Cancel subscription. One tap, one confirmation screen, and you’re done. No retention modal, no “before you go” survey, no discount offer. Your access continues until the end of the billing period; your plan and report stay in your archive.
